Arrival to Tkon, island Pasman
This fishing settlement was built compactly. In the past, it was formed on a hillock, and today it spreads all the way to the sea. It was first mentioned by the name Katav in 10th Ct. by Constantine Porfirogenet, Byzantine emperor.
Tkon offers various services trades, markets and manufacture trades; several restaurants, authentic Dalmatian wine-shops (konoba), pastry shop, cash-machine, exchange office, tourist agency, grocery shops, green market, marina, naturistic camp, post office, two bookshops, two meat markets, pharmacy, fish-market, sports playground, first-aid station and surgery, churches, Jadrolinija agency (car-ferry agency).

Biograd and Zadar are well connected by bus lines to major cities in Croatia , Slovenia Italy. If you arrive by train take off in Zagreb and take a bus from there to Biograd or Zadar. The closest airports are in Zadar, Split and Zagreb .There are several beaches in Tkon and they are all sandy. The night entertainment in Tkon offers public festivals and a central fishers' night that takes place in August. Other entertainment relates to bars, konoba and beach parties.
